Ål is a town and municipality in Viken county in Norway, which is known for its great winter sports possibilities. Furthermore a long tradition of folk music is maintained there. Since 1976 the festival “Folkemusikkveka“ takes place in May, where people make music and dance. A few years ago they started to plan the setting-up of the cultural centre “Ål Kulturhus” for various types of use and since 2018 renovation work has been in full swing. VIVACE was installed in the so-called “Sprang”. The room was newly constructed and was particularly conceived for the production and performance of folk music and folk dance. Additionally, classical concerts, plays and other events are planned as well. VIVACE ensures that every event takes place with perfect acoustics.
