The 36th Davos Festival took place from 07 to 21 August 2021 – in keeping with the zeitgeist, this year’s event was held under the motto “Aequalis”, which comes from Latin and means “equal”. After a very turbulent year, which has particularly challenged the cultural scene, it was very pleasant news that the DAVOS FESTIVAL decided to go ahead.
The exciting programme compilation by the director Marco Amroth once again made the festival a unique experience. The young artists from all over the world presented mainly works by female composers and managed to arouse a palpable enthusiasm for modern music in the audience through musicality and technical perfection.
Most of the concerts took place at the Hotel Schweizerhof. In the approximately 400 m² event hall of the hotel, VIVACE created the conditions for the musicians to unfold their sound and let the spark of emotion jump over to the audience.
